Something positive for the Community of Fairfield Bay-Christians Acting Like Jesus

The Good News is there are Christians in Fairfield Bay who love Jesus and who manifest the character of Jesus. In a practical sense they:
-Their heart is for God's agenda for Fairfield Bay, not their personal agenda.
-They pray for Fairfield Bay.
-They find ways where they can volunteer to help individuals and the community.
-They speak life into the community, not just focus on the negative.
-They offer and actually provide solutions to challenging problems.
-They are doers, not just talkers.
-They find ways to bring positive unity among individuals and organizations.
-They do not participate or promote the negative drama in Fairfield Bay.
-They do not spread rumors, gossip, deception, they live above the frey.

It should be noted that there are those who do the above that are not Christians. That is another positivity in Fairfield Bay-A variety of citizens that care about Fairfield Bay and they show it by their actions.

Negative Behavior
The following is addressed to Christians, even though nobody should manifest the ungodly behavior. But Christians are called to a higher standard, they are called to manifest the character of Christ, to live their life according to biblical principles.

There would be more positivity in Fairfield Bay if those who claim to be Christians, to be followers of Christ, would do better at manifesting the character of Christ. Not just act like Jesus but have the character of Jesus. That the words they speak, that their actions and behavior would line up with Scripture.

This is a challenge to those who live in Fairfield Bay that call themselves Christians that manifest ungodly actions and behavior, thus have ungodly character-REPENT! Stop justifying unrighteous behavior such as:
a. Name Calling/Labeling: Calling individuals derogatory names, putting labels on them with the goal to make them evil is the character of Satan, he is the accuser.

b. Mocking: Mocking individuals with memes, writing derogatory jokes, using sarcastic humor to put individuals down is not a positive behavior or a positive character trait. It actually shows immaturity.

c. Attacking the messenger instead of the message/slander: It is easy to see flaws in individuals and to focus on the flaws instead of focusing on the message. As a Christian we can address things we disagree with, we can challenge a person's opinion or ideas, but we should not 'come after the person' because we disagree with them. We certain should not make slanderous statements.

d. Gossip, rumors, half-truths: Much of the drama in Fairfield Bay is based upon gossip, rumors, half-truths, outright lies. As Christians we should never participate in gossip or rumors. We should never say anything about a person that is not founded on truth. We should never participate in half-truths, false statements about a person. If we do not know, we should not repeat.

e. Claiming to know the heart of others: A major problem in Fairfield Bay is individuals claiming to know the heart and motives of others, claiming to know why they make the decisions they make. Claiming individuals are bought and sold, etc. No person knows what is in the heart and head of another person. No person knows all the motives of a person. Only God knows the heart of people. Not a single person likes someone to tell them what they think or what their motives are. Christians certainly should not be part of such behavior.

If any Christian participates in such behavior they need to repent. They are being a negative influence in the community. They are not bringing positivity into the community. More importantly they are being a poor representative of Jeus Christ and being a tool of Satan.

Prayer
Each week we pray for Christians who do not manifest the character of Christ. We pray for repentance and amends be made.
