Fairfield Bay, America, the body of Christ would be in much better shape if Christians, citizens, and leaders that proclaim to be Christians would ask the Holy Spirit to help them to do a better job at manifesting the Character of Christ and convict them when they are living a life contrary to Scripture.

All of us need to stop using the excuse 'we all fall short'. Duh, of course we all fall short. But that is a poor excuse for sinful behavior because many times it is a cop out. Christ Followers have the Holy Spirit living within them and He gives the grace, power to live above sin. When we fall short we need to take ownership, confess, not excuse or blame others.

The Character of Christ
Compassionate, servanthood leadership, loving, gentle, kind, forgiving, understanding, prayerful, humble, unselfish, self-controlled, patient, bold, truth with love, righteous, holy.

Mind of Christ
When we accept Jesus Christ as our LORD and Savior, the Holy Spirit gives us the mind of Christ, which allows us to to see life from God's perspective. If we have the Mind of Christ, the Holy Spirit will convict us when we think or behave outside the will of God. We have a choice what we do with that conviction.

1 Corinthians 2:16
For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Pray
We need to pray that as Christ Followers we will continuously ask the Holy Spirit to renew our minds and give us the grace and obedience to walk in the Character of Christ.

Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Truth
If a person claims to be doing the will of God, but has not allowed the Holy Spirit to renew their mind, there is no way they truly know what is good, acceptable, and perfect.

Confession
We ALL fall short. I certainly fall short of the glory of God. I certainly have some sins that can easily entangle me if I am not walking in the spirit. I am more than willing to confess what my struggles are to anyone who wants to know. I do not share biblical truth because 'I am better than'. I share it because it can change a person's life.
